Yuzo is a wellness bar in Saltillo. The premise fits in one line: eat well, eat healthy, eat fast.
It sits on Boulevard Luis Donaldo Colosio, in Residencial San Patricio. The menu opens with smoothies, runs through nutritious breakfasts, and leaves a clear space for coffee and matcha. The proposition is direct: if you are going to have breakfast before stepping into your day, the food should be good, the bar should be serious, and the morning should not slip away while you wait.
Wellness bar, without the slogans
The word "wellness" has been emptied out by overuse. At Yuzo it is used in the most concrete way possible.
Yuzo's goal is to keep you company and make it easy to have a breakfast that is tasty, nutritious, and healthy.
Yuzo · Wellness Bar
The "make it easy" part carries the weight. The menu is built to solve a real morning, not a photo shoot. Smoothies with protein, options to add supplements according to what each person needs, a range of flavors, and the option to build your own. The promise is narrow enough to be kept every day.
Quality as the starting point
What sets a bar like this apart is not the word "wellness," it is what goes into the blender and into the coffee machine. Yuzo is clear about it: they work with product they can stand behind.
We try to use the best-quality products: the proteins, the creatine, the fruit, everything is the best quality. And coffee could not be left behind, the same with matcha.

That "could not be left behind" is the part that matters most to us. For a bar whose credibility is built on ingredient quality, deciding that coffee and matcha join at the same level changes the whole operation. It means the right equipment, the right calibration, a trained team, and the daily discipline of holding the standard.
What was worked on with Folka
The support from day one of the project was concrete: equipment, machine handling, training for the bar team, sensory criteria.
Our experience with Folka has been very good. They have guided us hand in hand from the start. From learning how to handle the machines, they taught us the quality that coffee and matcha need to have.
Yuzo · Wellness Bar
That is what they describe as the internal shift: today they recognize good quality without thinking about it, and the team prepares coffee and matcha with a repeatable standard. The difference does not show in one isolated drink; it shows on morning 50, when the standard still holds.
What remains
Yuzo does not sell itself as a coffee shop. It sells itself as a wellness bar, and that is exactly why coffee and matcha are a decision, not a concession. That decision, held over time, is what turns a smoothie counter into a place worth stopping by for the cup, too.
